We stand behind every bag we make. If something's wrong with your order, we want to make it right — fast. Here's how it works.

Our Commitment

FKN Nuts products are food items roasted in small batches. Because our pistachios are a perishable food product with a shelf life of 12 months from the roast date, we have to apply some limits that wouldn't apply to non-perishable goods. These aren't here to protect us from you — they're here to protect you from receiving or consuming a product that's past its best.

What We Will Always Make Right

  • Wrong item received: We sent you the wrong flavor or product — full replacement or refund, no questions asked.
  • Damaged in transit: Your order arrived crushed, opened, or otherwise damaged — full replacement or refund. Send us a photo and we'll sort it same day.
  • Quality issue: Something tastes off, smells wrong, or doesn't meet the standard you expect from us — contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace or refund it.
  • Missing items: Your order is incomplete — we'll ship what's missing immediately.

Food Safety Limits

Because our products are consumable food items, the following limits apply for health, safety, and legal reasons:

  • No returns on opened products — once a bag has been opened, we cannot accept it back. This protects every customer from receiving tampered or previously handled food.
  • No returns on products past their best-by date — we cannot issue refunds or replacements for products that have exceeded their shelf life, regardless of storage conditions.
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of delivery — after this window, we cannot verify the condition of the product at the time of receipt.
  • Perishable items cannot be returned by mail — for food safety reasons, we do not accept physical returns of any food product. If there's an issue, contact us and we'll resolve it without requiring you to ship anything back.

"Change of Mind" Orders

If you ordered the wrong flavor or simply changed your mind, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds on unopened perishable food products once the order has shipped. We strongly recommend starting with the FKN Essentials Bundle if you're unsure — it includes all three flavors so you can find your heat level before committing to a larger order.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

All ingredient and allergen information is listed on every product page and printed on every bag. If you have a known allergy or dietary restriction, please review this information carefully before ordering. We are unable to issue refunds due to allergic reactions where the allergen was clearly disclosed on the product listing. If you have questions before ordering, email us first — we'd rather answer your questions than have you receive something that doesn't work for you.

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • A photo if the issue is damage or quality-related

We'll respond within 1 business day and resolve it from there. No hoops. No lengthy back-and-forth.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days depending on your bank or card provider. You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund has been processed on our end.
